Teacher's Inspiration

I created a movie on Windows Live Movie Maker. This project was time consuming; but well worth the while. This would be useful in the classroom to be taught to students that are above the sixth grade level. Students may find this activity as a challenge, but their interest would be engaged in the activity because of all the creativity available. I had fun experiencing with the integration of music.My classmates shared a site called http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ where I could convert videos into music. I had never made a video before, and my technology skills are not too advanced; however after this project I feel total confidence in my computer skills.I hope that you enjoy my very first video!

Tagxedo

Here is my word cloud that I made using tagxedo. This is a fun and creative site that can be used in the class room for elementary students. With this site, I would encourage my students to use their creative minds in writing poetry. For example this image of a rose could be expressed differently for each student. I would have them create a word cloud, and then write a poem that describes what they felt when creating the image.

Students will have fun creating a page that tells a story about their hobbies, or interests. In the class room, the teacher can have each student present this to show their creativity. This is also a good ice breaker for the beginning of the semester, when the students are introducing themselves.

Microsoft paint!

This is the picture I took on a trip to Paris, France! The beautiful Eiffel Tower. I visited in the Spring of  2010 for a Fashion Model Showcase. I recommend a vacation here to anyone!

Picnik image

Editing my baby sister's photo was enjoyable using the picnik website. The most interesting part was the ability to change eye color. This is fun for adults and children.
